There’s no Codes?

Ive seen issues where it was a bad alternator sending voltage spikes to the PCM , causing it to reset.

IS there a Check engine light on? Are there any codes present.

Does it cut out & come back.. or does it completly stall?
You Might want to check the fuel pump or pressure regulator.
Could be a vacuum leak? Need more info.

Depending on how you apply it, yes i could see it causing some problems. If you can use a tiny amount just for teh connector, you should be ok. But if its touching other parts of the board, You could by chance change the signal / resistance / impedence and run into some strange stuff.

Sounds like you have a pew problems there. I do know that hybrids NEED A/c to keep the batteries cool. This could play a part in your mileage issue. Before things get worse you should think about learing more about hybrids…
